dc.description.abstract The evaluation of the Qadirpur #3 well's hydrocarbon potential is the study's primary goal. The well is situated in Ghotki, Sindh province, Pakistan, about 70 km to the northeast of Sukkur and 100 km to the east of Jacobabad. The Mari-Kandh Kot High on the Punjab platform, a gently west-dipping zone encircling the Indian shield, is included in the tectonic structure. Utilizing the entire collection of wireline logs and the available well data, the goal has been accomplished. One area of interest for assessing hydrocarbon potential at the reservoir level has been Sui Main Limestone. Schlumberger uses a variety of formation evaluation charts and a set of equations to thoroughly assess the reservoir zone's hydrocarbon potential. Calculations of various physical characteristics, including porosity, resistivity, and shale volume, are made using a variety of log suites. Shale volume calculated as an average in Sui Main Limestone is 23.03 percent. The Zone of Sui Main limestone has an average effective porosity of 16.38%. The Zone of Sui Main Limestone has an average water saturation of 36.30%. The Zone of Sui Main Limestone has an average hydrocarbon saturation of 63.69%. The density and neutron cross plot chart shows that the Sui Main Limestone, the reservoir lithology of the chosen zone, is limestone. Calculated parameters indicate that the marked zone is a productive zone. en_US
