Abstract:
The primary objective of this research is to examine the influence of dynamic green supply chain management practices on the operational productivity within Pakistan's automobile sector. It aims to discern the significant variables and processes crucial for integrating green supply chain practices into automobile companies' operations to address environmental concerns stemming from supply chain activities. Emphasizing the role of supply chain partners in ameliorating ecological impacts caused by manufacturing processes and supply chain activities is essential. The study delves into various facets of green supply chain management, highlighting factors such as green sourcing, green purchasing, and green innovation. Employing a quantitative research approach, data was collected through a structured questionnaire comprising five sections: demographic details (Section A), independent variables (Sections B to D), and the dependent variable, operational productivity (Section E). The survey involved 248 respondents from different departments directly involved in supply chain and operations across five automobile manufacturing companies. Statistical analysis, conducted using SPSS software, encompassed descriptive analysis through tables and inferential analysis employing regression methods to test hypotheses. The research findings affirm the positive impact of dynamic green supply chain management practices on operational productivity within Pakistan's automobile sector, with all hypotheses validated and supported by evidence.
