dc.description.abstract | Digital transformation has emerged as a pivotal force reshaping contemporary business landscapes, and its profound implications on supply chain management have become increasingly evident. This research endeavors to explore the multifaceted impact of digital transformation on supply chain management processes and efficiency. The study delves into the historical evolution of supply chain management, elucidating the traditional models and their inherent challenges. Subsequently, it provides a comprehensive examination of digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Robotics, and their transformative role in modernizing supply chain operations. A pivotal aspect of this research involves the development and deployment of a tailored questionnaire to gather empirical data from industry practitioners and stakeholders. The methodology includes a rigorous analysis of the collected data, employing both descriptive and inferential statistics to unveil patterns, correlations, and insights. Through this empirical lens, the study aims to offer a nuanced understanding of the current state of supply chain management, identifying the specific areas where digital transformation induces positive change and highlighting the challenges and barriers faced in its implementation. In addition to the empirical investigation, the research incorporates a thorough review of relevant literature and case studies to contextualize findings. Successful digital transformation stories within the supply chain domain are examined, along with lessons learned from unsuccessful initiatives, providing a rich foundation for drawing conclusions and making informed recommendations. The study concludes by presenting future trends in supply chain management, offering insights into emerging technologies and providing practical recommendations for organizations embarking on or refining their digital transformation journey within the dynamic realm of supply chain management. | en_US |
