dc.description.abstract The study aimed to investigate the impact of job stress on employee performance and job satisfaction moderated by innovative behavior in IT sector of Pakistan. Job stress served as the independent variable. Innovative behavior was used as moderator. Employee performance and job satisfaction were considered as the dependent variables. Employees working in IT firms of Pakistan were the study’s targeted audience for exploring the connections between the aforementioned variables. Current study has used quantitative research design, as it was based on primary data. A questionnaire was distributed to 200 participants (employees from Pakistani IT firms) to collect data and establish the relationship between the research variables. Data collected from respondents was analyzed using SPSS software with the help of statistical tests (correlation and regression analysis). Findings of correlation and regression analysis have proved the negative impact of job stress on employee performance and job satisfaction in IT sector of Pakistan. Findings have revealed that increase in job stress tends to significantly decrease employee performance and job satisfaction in IT sector of Pakistan. Finally, moderation analysis has proved significant moderating effect of innovative behavior in relationship between job stress (independent variable) and employee performance and job satisfaction (dependent variables) in IT sector of Pakistan. en_US
