dc.description.abstract This research was done to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential and structural characteristics of the Bhangali area in the Upper Indus Basin, Pakistan. To identify zones with hydrocarbons, the researchers conducted petrophysical analysis of the Bhangali-01 & Bhangali-02 wells, estimating rock properties such as clean rock volume, shale volume, hydrocarbon saturation, and water saturation for both the Chorgali Formation and Sakesar Limestone. The results showed that the Chorgali Formation exhibited more promising results compared to the Sakesar Limestone, indicating that it may have higher hydrocarbon reserves. The study provides significant insights into the hydrocarbon potential of the Bhangali area and can guide future exploration and production efforts in the region. en_US
