dc.description.abstract The objective of this study is to determine the hydrocarbon potential in the Qadirpur-03 and Qadirpur-011 well using wireline logs. Qadirpur is situated in the Sindh region near Gotki. The region of Qadirpur is mainly located in Central Indus Basin and it is bounded on the east by the Sulaiman Depression, on the north by Sargodha High and on the south by Jacobabad High. Log data used in this study includes the Gamma-ray log, Neutron log, Resistivity log, Caliper log, and SP log. The borehole profile of the zone of interest was good. The present study showed that the volume of clean was about 80.21% in Qadirpur-03 and 85.82% in Qadirpur-11. The effective porosity was 20.89% in Qadirpur-03 and 27.71% in Qadirpur-11. The value of hydrocarbon saturation in Sui Main Limestone in Qadirpur-03 is 46% and 66.82% in Qadirpur-011. Petrophysical analysis showed that prospect zone has clean lithology and good effective porosity. During petrophysical analysis it is concluded that Sui Main Limestone is excellent reservoir in Qadirpur Field with good effective porosity and high hydrocarbon saturation. en_US
