Abstract:
Education is one ofthe most important issues nowadays. Selecting the best tutor put
parents in dilemma due to the variety ofoptions offered by the institutions. Parents are
influenced by various factors such as fees, contents and facilities. However, parents
have different preferences for their children education. The objective ofthis Project is
to provide the main evaluation criteria for selection of a tutor based on the subject
preference and base on these criteria we have develop a system to assist parents in
deciding the best choice for tutor. The system being developed took into consideration
usability factor to decide users' acceptance. This project uses the decision support
system technique which is based on model driven category which works on
contemplative model. The main advantage ofthis technique is that it makes better and
effective decisions and it examines more alternatives which is helpful in selection of
good tutor. Our project proceeds with the friendly user interface where a user can easily
get through the knowledge of selection oftutor, about how they can choose a good
tutor according to their subjects. Full effort has been given to complete each and every
pros and cons, so that they are taken into account. Digital Tutor Academy is basically
a platform where the parents can find the tutors for their children based on their classes
and subjects and most importantly according to their precise location. We need this
type of website because in our country all the tutor academies are physical and we
want this to be digitalize and in that manner most ofthe people can just visit the site
and book their tutors. As we all know the pandemic is going on due to covid-19 so
most of the people wants their child to study in a friendly environment. The
implementation of this website is like the tutors have to register and provide their
qualification so that whenever the parents wants to hire the tutor, they can simply visit
the profile ofthe particular tutor and hire them according to their classes and subjects.
This website should be available in all across the country where most ofthe schools
are situated so that it will be helpful for the parents to look out for the tutors.
