dc.description.abstract Present study is based on the petrographic analysis of outcrop samples of Nammal Limestone, exposed in Nammal Gorge. The Nammal Limestone, at this location, consists of mostly broken pieces of planktonic forams with sparse benthonic forams and ostracodes, embedded in the groundmass of micrite and some marl. Thus the carbonates of Nammal Formation are represented by bioclastic packstones and wackestones. Abundance of planktonic forams indicates relatively deep marine environment of deposition of carbonates of this formation. Chemical compaction has resulted common occurrence of microstylolites during diagenesis. Sparite-filled molds are locally present, indicating dissolution of bioclasts, which subsequently filled with calcite cement. No effective primary or secondary porosity was observed within the limestones of Nammal Formation. [10:45 AM, 3/12/2024] 💞💕💞💕💞💕: Meyal field is located near Pindi Gheb (District Attock), 110 km southwest of Islamabad, which is bounded by latitudes 33°11'-33°22' N and longitudes 71°59-72°18′E and is a part of Meyal block which lies in the central part of Potwar plateau, Upper Indus basin. The data obtained for the seismic, petrophysical included the migrated seismic lines 97-Myl-05, 97-Myl-07, 97-Myl-09, 97-Myl-11, 97-Myl-12 and well log data of Meyal-13 which was acquired from Landmark Resources(LMKR) with prior approval from the Directorate General of Petroleum Concession (DGPC) for carrying out this study. Four Dip lines are oriented N-S while the one Strike line is oriented E-W. Three Reflectors were marked i.e. Datta Formation, chorgali Formation and sakesar Formation to investigate the geological structure in the area. Major faults were identified, which extended through out these formation. For getting average velocity, Average velocity graphs were generated from common depth points (CDP's). Velocity and TWT contour maps were generated from these above mentioned Reflectors. From these contour maps, Depth contour were generated which en_US
