Abstract:
Intelligent chuckhole detecting and repairing robot seeks to automate the process of finding
and fixing potholes on roads. To recognize potholes and their placement on the road, this robot
makes use of sensors and artificial intelligence. The pothole was then swiftly and effectively
repaired by the robot using a combination of hot asphalt, an ultrasonic sensor, and a scrapper.
Compared to conventional pothole repair techniques, robots have several advantages. It can fix
more potholes in less time than manual work since it’s quicker and more effective. Removing
the need of workers to cross the busy streets also lowers their risk of harm, utilizing the same
materials offer a more reliable and superior repair. Municipalities can utilize this information
to distribute resources more efficiently and prioritize repairs. Robot construction also
minimizes the waste by using the amount of asphalt required for each repair, making it
environment friendly. An innovative new technology called the intelligent chuckhole detecting
and repairing robot has the potential to completely change how potholes are patched on
highways. Compared to existing conventional methods that is the smartphone accelerometer
sensor is used for the detection of pothole, it is quicker, more effective, and safer and it also
has the added advantages of giving towns useful information for better road maintenance
planning.
