dc.description.abstract | The SMART Supply Chain Management System for Disaster Hit Areas is an innovative and technologically advanced solution designed to streamline and enhance the efficiency of supply distribution and management in disaster-affected regions. In times of crisis, the availability of essential supplies such as food, water, medical resources, and other relief materials becomes critical. This project aims to address the challenges faced by relief organizations and stakeholders involved in disaster response by providing a comprehensive digital platform that facilitates seamless coordination, monitoring, and management of supply chains. This report outlines the development and implementation of the SMART Supply Chain Management System, which focuses on its architecture, key features and usage, by stakeholders. The system allows administrators, relief workers, residents, relief camp managers, grocery store managers, medical facility managers and other important individuals to work together in managing the supply chain process. With user interfaces users can. Log in easily request supplies track their requests manage inventory efficiently and ensure smooth distribution. The SMART Supply Chain Management System is designed to enhance decision making processes by incorporating user design principles and a robust backend architecture. It also facilitates real time communication to reduce response times while minimizing wastage and optimizing resource allocation. By integrating cutting edge technologies like GPS tracking, data analytics tools and secure user authentication methods into the systems framework it provides a solution tailored to address the complexities of disaster relief operations. Incorporating both requirements (features that directly impact functionality) and non- functional requirements (factors like security or performance) this system places importance on user experience as well as security measures. The design and development process involved examination of existing studies in the field along with feedback, from users to ensure that the final solution meets the needs of disaster affected areas. In summary this report emphasizes the importance of the SMART Supply Chain Management System, in revolutionizing the execution of relief operations during emergencies. By utilizing technology to establish an adaptable system this initiative enhances the effectiveness of disaster response efforts. Acts as a valuable resource, for ensuring prompt and efficient distribution of supplies to those who require them. | en_US |
