Abstract:
The Smart E-Learning application will address the issues and its critical need in the education system (increasing interest and engagement of students in the S-T-E-A-M subjects). S-T-E-A-M subjects are mostly boring, and the concepts are very difficult to understand. Engaging, interactive and fun ways of learning make these subjects interesting to work on. Learning is a very important phase of human life, but most don’t have the privilege and access to a high-quality education that empowers them to learn effectively and comprehensively. Ensuring every student, regarding any background, has the privilege to learn and excel. “Smart E-Learning: An Interactive Learning Application for Middle School Students” by harnessing the power of technology like Smartphones to make STEAM subjects engaging and accessible, we are breaking down barriers and building a future where quality education knows no boundaries. The "Smart E-Learning: An Interactive Learning Application for Middle School Students " is a revolutionary mobile application built using the Flutter framework and powered by Firebase as its backend. This project’s main goal is to cover the educational gap and empower underprivileged to empower themselves by providing them access to high-quality S-T-E-A-M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning materials and resources (Video lectures, Quizzes). The application curates a wide array of educational resources, including videos lectures, attempting quizzes, and tracks their progress, covering topics in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Students can track their learning progress through the application, enabling them to set goals, view completed activities. Moreover, the Administrator has access to a dedicated dashboard, enabling them to manage student profiles, monitor progress, and analyze engagement metrics. This project combines education with technology, to show the potential of technology in decreasing the educational barrier and building a brighter future for all students, irrespective of their background and economic conditions.
