Abstract:
A web-based Community Service Program (CSP) Management System was created to
improve and expedite the administration of community service projects and promote
easy communication between organizations and students. The CSP Management System,
which was created with a solid back-end supported by Laravel and PostgreSQL
and a responsive and user-friendly front-end driven by React.js with Tailwind CSS,
completely changes the field of community service program administration.
Desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones all have aesthetically pleasing and
intuitive user interfaces thanks to the React.js front-end enhanced with Tailwind CSS
styling. A consistent and easy-to-use user experience is offered by responsive design
concepts. Students can quickly apply to community service programs by browsing
and choosing from posts that the coordinators of the program have uploaded that
are relevant. The application procedure is simplified, making it easier for students
to effectively express interest. Coordinators are able to write and oversee posts that
describe opportunities for community involvement. Posts provide important details
including locations, time commitments, necessary abilities, and project descriptions.
An inventive function makes the procedure of tracking attendance automatic. The
automatic receipt of attendance sheets by organizations makes it easier to monitor
student engagement. Students are prompted by the system to record their attendance,
which facilitates a smooth and effective workflow.
The CSP Management System is a state-of-the-art program management tool that
connects organizations in need and interested students to facilitate community service.
This platform attempts to improve the whole community service engagement experience
by utilizing cutting-edge technology and offering a user-centric design, encouraging
a culture of cooperation, acknowledgment, and influence. The CSP Management
System is proof of the ability of technology to promote constructive social change, as
it combines automated procedures with strong communication channels.A web-based Community Service Program (CSP) Management System was created to improve and expedite the administration of community service projects and promote easy communication between organizations and students.
