dc.description.abstract Route optimizationisakeyissueinseveralfields,includingtransportation,lo- gistics, andsupplychainmanagement.Routeoptimizationisdeterminingthemost effectivesetofroutestomeetcertaincriteriasuchasdistance,time,andcost.The primary purposeofrouteoptimizationistoreducetotaltraveltime,distance,and cost, aswellasotherresourceutilization,andtoimproveoperationalefficiency.The effect ofnumerouselementssuchastrafficcircumstances,dynamicchangesinde- mand orsupply,andvehiclecharacteristicsonrouteoptimization.Itisimpossible to overestimatetheimportanceofmanyaspectsinrouteoptimization.Theun- predictable natureoftrafficconditionshasasignificantimpactonrouteselection, as avoidingcongestionanddelaysiscritical.Furthermore,dynamicvariationsin demand andsupplynecessitateadaptationinroutedesigninordertoproperlyallo- cate resources.Thetrade-offsinrouteoptimizationbetweencompetingobjectives, suchasminimizingtraveltimewhilemaximizingresourceutilizationorconsidering environmentalsustainability. en_US
