dc.description.abstract National Database and registration Authority (NADRA) was established in 1998 under Ministry of Interior Govt of Pakistan. The first HR Department was established at Islamabad in 2002.Human Resource Development is entirely a new concept in all the Government organizations. It was observed at the outset, that proper Job Analysis, Performance management continuous Training and further development was not even a remote consideration. The old obsolete system of work on need basis, over lap of duties, strict assignments of responsibilities was almost unknown, which was adversely affecting the performance and then the efficiency of the institution, thus the seniors were disappointed and so the control system seemed to be reduced to a state of complete ineffectiveness. To create an environment of job satisfaction on both sides of the service ranks a plan for the well organized task, role and duty has to be made. Therefore a Position Analysis Questionnaire (PAQ) was selected as a tool for job analysis. All the data was collected through PAQ, and the point to point analysis was done under the guidance of chief Human resources of NADRA, it was extensively discussed and finalized only when the Manager of HR Department agreed to the content of PAQ. en_US
