Abstract:
With the rise of internet, rapid advancement in technology and abundant innovation,
the way businesses are done has been changed completely. Many companies and
business owners have left behind the traditional and old way of handling businesses to
help them get an edge over their competitors in their industries.
Small scale businesses constitute of nearly 90% of all enterprises of Pakistan and
enjoys a 40% share in the GDP [I]. One ofthe reasons these small-scale businesses do
not flourish or fail before reaching their full potential is the use of traditional old
method of keeping everything manual which help them lose records, waste time on
doing manual calculations, wasting money to hire extra employees to do calculations
and hence lose efficiency in their business. This can also lead them to not gain financial
help when needed because they fail to keep a record oftheir financial statements.
The main purpose of developing our project is to help small business owners in
automating their day-to-day business operations with a one-in-all software. Our
developed application will be able to help small business owners to manage their
accounts and finances, inventory, sales and purchases ofitems as well as management
oftheir employees
