Abstract:
Most cells in the human body will grow and then divide in an orderly manner to form
new cells to keep the body healthy and maintain its optimal state. However, when the
cell loses its ability to control growth, divisions become too frequent and in no order.
The extra cells form a mass called a tumor. Brain tumors are abnormal and
uncontrolled cell proliferation. The project proposes a method for detecting brain
tumors using convolutional neural networks. Pre-process the image to
and artifacts, classify it, and then segment it to find regions of interest where tumors
may exist. The experimental results show that the images
convolutional neural network have high accuracy and greatly reduce the calculation
time. The project shows that the proposed solution can be used to detect brain tumors
in patients with a high success rate.
