dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project is to promote the development of AI that is for medical purposes in the field of image analysis for retinal images. Furthermore, the purpose to make this FYP is to make the identification ofocular diseases a quicker process, ocular data is often of large amount and this makes it difficult for human experts to identify which ocular disease it is, thus, the ODIR system would be in place to make it convenient to identify which ocular diseases, if any, a person has at that moment. Another purpose ofthis FYP is making identification of the disease at its earliest so that the condition of the person does not become serious before the disease can be identified and in this way, the diagnosis for the disease would come sooner. Image cropping and resizing operations are techniques as well as othersfor image processing, these could aid in the pre-processing of the fundus image and then CNN or any other machine learning classifier can be used forthe classification ofthe images. The Ocular Disease are determined and diagnosed for the patient. The aims ofthis project are to promote the development of medical AI and to find innovators and people that are in the development ofmedical AI product in the field ofretinal image analysis. en_US
