DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR FINDING TECHNICIAN ON THE BASIS OF MULTIPLE FACTORS

Abstract

Through several researches and surveys, we have found out that there is a growing need of service providers in Pakistan and people have suggested thal an application should be developed to provide them with such facilities more easily. The objective ofthis project is to create a mobile application that is extremely useful in the field of technology. We aim to provide the technicians with the facilities that could help them through a decision support system and it’ll enable them to get clients on the basis ofmultiple factors such as rating and reviews. We have used Flutter which helps to develop cross-platform applications through its amazing tools. We have developed this system in order to provide the field service technicians with mobile service application facilities so that they get their work done by using the devices like mobile phones, tablets or iPad on the service location. This will enable them to do their jobs in an efficient and accurate manner. Technologies related to finding technicians and sendee providers are unavailable in our country due to which the workers who are new in this field are unable to find appropriate jobs in their vicinity. In order to put an end to this problem, we have thought how immensely important it is to develop a platform which will help us to narrow the communic.ation gap between the service providers and targeted users. This application provides an easy and user-friendly interface enabling the users to operate the current trends of technology. We have developed an android application with the name “HomeTechs”. This app helps the users and experts processing different technical skills to communicate with each other. The application we've created consists of Google Map and we've used its navigation and location tracking functionality to satisfy the search and recruiting requirement
