Abstract

Karachi is a fast moving city with an approximate population of about 15 million people. In such a city almost thousands of events like marriages, birthdays and anniversaries happen almost every day. Almost every family has two to five events every year for which they have to go from one place to another to go and look for suitable venue for their event. Process of searching for suitable venue takes a lot of time and effort. We propose to save the time and effort of almost every citizen of Karachi by creating a website that would allow them to search for a venue for their event without wasting much time and effort. This website will not only allow them to get information about different venue but it will also show the availability of a certain venue on certain date. If one found their desired venue on their desired date they can also book it sitting at their home through this website. The main feature of our project is allowing user to change theme of the venue. Our project give user to either pick a default theme or change it according to their event. For example: Blue Theme for birthday of a boy, Pink theme for birthday of a girl.
