Abstract:
Food wastage is an increasing issue faced by many developing nations. The food
shoitage and its associated problems have been addressed by the United Nations
multiple forums and measures have been continuously evolving to tackle this issue. As
the world is moving towards digitization and the use of information technology as a
mode of finding effective solutions increases, the food wastage problem can also be
tackled using the technology. We noticed the use of mobile technology to minimize
food waste and developed a mobile application that enables individual
on
restaurants to
sell their left food at low prices or to donate that food. We also have developed a food
management module that contains different techniques that will help the restaurants to
counter the food wastage problem. The developed application is user-friendly and very
easy to use
