dc.description.abstract In the present study, we examine the process through which exploitative leadership impacts employee Innovativeness. Specifically, we test whether exploitative leadership is associated with lower levels of employee innovativeness and if this effect is mediated by employee Cardiac rhythm and sentimental exhaustion. Results showed that exploitative leadership had an indirect negative relationship with employee innovativeness via its impact on employee cardiac rhythm and sentimental exhaustion. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the negative effects of exploitative leadership on employee innovativeness and the processes by which they occur. en_US
