dc.description.abstract | Since world has been in a pandemic for the past 2 years because of Covid and its variants it won’t be an over exaggeration if we say that this vims will probably stay with us for the next 5 years Furthermore most of the institution have updated their policies regarding on how to behave in the work place because to adapt to this way of living. Many institutes have opted for a non-touchable environment like avoiding fingerprint scanning for marking attendance keeping this situation in mind we are developing an application which is able to use facial recognition and object detection for marking attendance of its employees by using these 2 features we will be able to prevent proxy attendance and detect intrusions in the system. A facial recognition system works by locating and measuring facial characteristics from a given image and comparing them to a database of faces. It is often used to verify users through ED verification services. Similar systems were first developed in the 1960s as a type of computer application. Facial recognition systems have been used on smartphones and in other types of technology, such as robots, since their beginnings. Computerized facial recognition systems are classified as biometrics since they involve the assessment of a person's physiological properties. Object detection is a computer vision approach for detecting and locating things in images and videos. Object detection can count items in a scene, determine and monitor their precise positions, and correctly label them with this type of identification and localization. | en_US |
