Abstract:
A web-based system runs on a web server unlike computer based software programs
that run locally on the operating system. It is an online web portal, which will
manage a complete restaurant, and with some customization, all type of businesses
involving in food industry. It will accompany a website with augmented reality for
customers. Many restaurants manage their business by manual especially take
customer ordering. Waiter takes the customer ordering in paper manual. It makes
difficult to arrange the schedule if the paper got lost. Initial problem is that the
customer get to connected over the phone to get his meal, it would be harder if the
restaurant is very popular and busy. The chances of committing mistakes at the
restaurant side in providing a menu list for a specific time would be more. The paper
menus can be flimsy, hard to navigate, and out-dated. This restaurant menu and
management system will replace the paper waste, is more maintainable, and allows
for greater customer engagement. The problem confronting the research is to
determine the documentation for online restaurant management system. The very
purpose ofthe project is to modernize the restaurant working atmosphere to fulfil the
customer’s requirements and facilitate the organizer; manager and even the employee
not only perform their duties in most efficient manner but also within a tight grip of
their submission of duties and full control of management over the functions of
business
