IMPACT OF INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) ON SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE THROUGHIOT ENABLED SUPPLY CHAIN INTEGRATION

Abstract

Purpose The main purpose or objective of this research was to find the impact of loT enabled Supply Chain Integration on Supply Chain Performance. Previous literature review done in this domain has emphasized upon the fact that using IoT within retail firms increases the overall Supply Chain Performance of the business. In this study our focus was on Textile firms listed with All Pakistan Textile Mills Association from which our focus and data collection was from 223 firms. Methodology & Design This research was of quantitative in nature and data was collected through close ended questionnaires distributed in selected Textiles. The size ofthe sample was set to 669 and data was collected through 431 respondents. SEM was used to asses the information using Smart PLS. Findings Upon conclusion of this research, it becomes evident that by using more and more IoT within Pakistani Textile Sector achieving excellence in Supply Chain Performance in confirmed up to extent. Thus, this research findings make it evident to use improved IoT in Textile Sector of Pakistan
