dc.description.abstract Purpose The purpose of the study is to enhance job performance through work engagement by evaluating the impact of emotional intelligence. In this study, trying to identify the relationship between variables and whether it is healthy or not. Methodology & Design The method of the study was quantitative by using primary data. The questionnaire was employed using Google Forms based on private sector employees of Karachi, Pakistan. Data is analyzed using SPSS software. The sample size opted for this research was 258, by using multiple linear regression analysis, the correlations between the variables in this study were examined. Findings The finding of the study shows that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on all variables. Research also indicates that employee has a high level of emotional intelligence which mean they have good control of their emotions and the ability to work in any situation. They are always willing to help their co-workers. Limitations results because only Karachi-based individuals made up the Limited generalizability of the sample subject; as a result, results cannot be generalized to other parts of the nation. The of Karachi Pakistan, therefore is a vast topic and its study deals with the private sector market. In this study, the target population is limited 1 of different domains such as managers, professors, etc. difficult to target any specific industry 01 and focused on professional Recommendations The organization needs to focus on employee's emotional intelligence which helps to increase employee efficiency. When employees have stable emotions they perform well and engage themselves in organizational activities. Additionally, organizations can enhance their employees' performance by providing training, social support, and mentoring their subordinate and co-workers en_US
