Abstract:
Puipose - In this revolutionized era business intelligence is the term to analyze data with the
technology driven process that helps in presenting the actionable knowledge to help the
management ol organization to make more informed business decision by understanding the
market trends with the help ot the tools that are available in business intelligence. This study
investigates the links among Business intelligence, user satisfaction and organizational
impact which depicts the use of business intelligence for creating impact in healthcare sector.
Methodology & Design - The data was collected through survey approach from private
healthcare organizations ot Karachi. The data was collected from 203 respondents which
were the end users of BI and the responses of those respondents were used for the analysis of
the hypothesis.
Findings - The results of this study shows that there is a significant relation between SQ and
US, TC and US, TI and US, TS and US, US and 01. There is no significant relation between
IQ and US, TD and US, TP and US. Whereas user satisfaction has a significant mediation
role between business intelligence and organizational impact
Limitations - The data collection was done from the limited employees working in the
private healthcare settings of Karachi. Organizational impact is measured through
questionnaire because of limited time constraint. Since the research is conducted in only
private sector healthcare organization so that it can be differ in public healthcare organization
Recommendations - Management of healthcare organization have to focus on the trainings
of their clinical and non clinical staff for creating a better
of them towards business intelligence related information systems and
and this will certainly help in increasing the end user satisfaction.
