dc.description.abstract Purpose The aim ofstudy is to assess the association between knowledge, perception, practice ofself medication and use ofself-medication among students at Bahria University, Karachi. Methodology & Design The study used a cross-sectional research design with a quantitative approach. A structured questionnaire was employed online and a data of 260 participants was collected through non probability convenience sampling tecimique. Data analysis was done using SmartPLS 4. Findings The study found that knowledge, perception, and practice are significantly associated with use ofself-medication since the data was analyzed at 0.05 levels ofsignificances. Limitations Questionnaire was self-reported, which could have resulted in underreporting of self medication habits and study used a convenience sample, which is less representative of the university as a whole than probability sampling. Recommendations The study recommends that the health authorities to carry out awareness campaigns on relationships between basic knowledge, perception and standard practice of medication with ofself-medication.
