dc.description.abstract Migrated seismic lines PK85-KH001, PK85-KH004, PK85-KH006, PK85-0962, and PK85-0958 of Badin Block were obtained from the Directorate General of Petroleum Concession (DGPC) for seismic interpretation and Well data of DOTI-01 Well were obtained. Most seismic lines are oriented E-W of the Lower Indus Basin except for the seismic line PK85-KH001 which is oriented N-S. The information we required was given within the time section, which was helpful in the conversion of the time section into depth section. These calculations helped in subsurface interpretation of the area, which was the basic purpose of this project. Four reflectors were marked named Khadro Formation, Lower Goru Formation, Basal Sand, and Chiltan Formation. Faults were marked and then time contour maps were generated. After that time sections were converted into depth sections with the help of Check Shot and finally depth contour maps were generated, this helped to know the basic mechanism of the tectonic setting in the area. Petrophysical evaluation of DOTI-01 Well was carried out to highlight the reservoir property which included the selection of zone of interest followed by Log interpretation. The volume of shale, sand, and porosity was calculated. Isopach Maps were generated using the well tops. These well tops were then used to calculate the thicknesses of Upper Goru, A Sand, B Sand, Upper Basal Sand, Middle Sand, and Lower Basal Sand. Lithological Well Correlation along North-South and East-West directions was performed using the same well tops. en_US
