dc.description.abstract This thesis aims to investigate the concept of Supply Chain 4.0 and its impact on the organizational performance of construction companies in Pakistan. Supply Chain 4.0 refers to the integration of advanced technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation, into conventional supply chain management practices. The study explores how the adoption of Supply Chain 4.0 practices can enhance efficiency, transparency, and productivity in the construction industry, thereby improving overall organizational performance. Data for this research is collected from construction companies in Pakistan using a mixed-methods approach that includes surveys and interviews. This data gathering method allows for an evaluation of the existing state of supply chains and an identification of the advantages and challenges associated with implementing Supply Chain 4.0. The findings indicate that the implementation of Supply Chain 4.0 technologies can lead to improved supply chain visibility, streamlined processes, cost reduction, and increased customer satisfaction within the construction industry. However, certain barriers, such as limited technological infrastructure, resistance to change, and implementation costs, pose challenges to the successful adoption of Supply Chain 4.0 practices. en_US
