dc.description.abstract The primary objective of this study is to examine the Impact of factors that influence the Green Supply Chain Initiatives for Automobile Manufacturing Sector of Pakistan. Additionally, it aims to identify the variables and processes that hold greater importance for implementing green supply chain practices in automobile manufacturing companies. The integration of green supply chain management practices within supply chain operations is crucial to address environmental issues stemming from manufacturing processes. It is essential for supply chain partners to contribute towards improving ecological conditions by mitigating the adverse impacts caused by manufacturing processes and supply chain activities. The existing literature covers various variables related to green supply chain practices, and this study specifically focuses on the significance of factors such as regulatory measures, customer pressure, competitor pressure, and socio-cultural responsibility. A quantitative research approach was employed, and data was collected through a questionnaire designed for this purpose. The questionnaire consisted of six sections, with Section A pertaining to general demographic information, Sections B to E related to independent variables, and Section F related to the dependent variable, green supply chain. Five different automobile manufacturing companies were selected, and respondents from the supply chain, operations, inventory, logistics and procurement, production, and sales departments were included as they have direct involvement with the supply chain and operations. The sample size consisted of a total of 150 respondents. The data was analyzed using statistical methods, specifically utilizing SPSS software. Descriptive analysis involved the use of tables and their analysis, while inferential analysis relied on regression methods to test the hypotheses. The overall findings of this research shed light on how supply chain drivers explore green supply chain initiatives in the manufacturing sector of Pakistan, and all hypotheses were accepted and supported by the results. en_US
