dc.description.abstract Huawei's acquisition of Ericsson in 2012 was a significant strategic move that solidified the company's position as the largest distributor of telecommunication equipment globally. This acquisition not only expanded Huawei's market reach but also strengthened its product portfolio, allowing the company to offer a more comprehensive range of telecommunication solutions to its customers. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, Huawei is a Chinese multinational corporation that specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, and sale of telecommunication equipment. The company's product portfolio encompasses a wide range of technologies and solutions catering to various industries and sectors. In addition to telecommunication equipment, Huawei excels in consumer electronics, smart devices, and rooftop solar products, offering a diverse range of innovative and high-quality products (Low, 2007) In 2018, Huawei achieved another milestone by surpassing Apple to become the second-largest distributor of smart mobile phones worldwide, ranking just behind Samsung.
