dc.description.abstract In the context of global commerce, outsourcing, and the emergence of specialized organizations, companies are compelled to make such human resource practices that provide competitive edge and with that supply chain development has emerged as a central component of businesses worldwide. However, researchers provide different views that created variances between the practices and theories related to the implementation of SCD. Considering the significance of studying human resource management practices in the context of the supply chain development the limited number of publications in this integrated domain, which historically focused on HRMP and SCD as separate areas, our initial objective was to analyze the current state of HRSC research. This analysis aimed to uncover existing studies and recognize the notable advancements made thus far. This paper aims to examine the influence of human resource practices on supply chain development across textile industry of Pakistan and how they are interrelated. Based on our empirical findings, we concluded that human resource management practices has direct effects on supply chain development which enhance SC performance. This study followed the quantitative research paradigm from textile sector of Faisalabad, Karachi and Lahore. The data is collected through research questionnaire which contains 189 participants. The research questions are self-administrated and analyzed on SPSS via different statistical tools.The questionnaire design in this research was based on Likert scale. Which contains question about different variables. This study offers a unique analysis by identifying key human resource practices and measuring the relationship between HRMP and SCD providing valuable insights into the mechanisms that drive their relationships. The vi findings go beyond existing literature, offering more comprehensive and insightful results. The results inferenced from this study, along with the implications for both academia and practitioners, are presented, along with suggestions for future research directions. en_US
