Abstract:
This study's main purpose is to examine the impact of Green Supply Chain Management (GSC) practices on sustainability performance, specifically focusing on the textile industry in Pakistan. The independent variable in this study is GSC, which encompasses green purchasing, eco-design, waste management, and energy management. The dependent variables are sustainability performance indicators, including economic performance, social performance, and governance performance. The research aims to provide evidence of the relationship between GSC practices and sustainability performance within the context of the textile industry in Pakistan. By adopting a quantitative research approach, data will be collected from textile companies in Pakistan through surveys and interviews. Statistical analysis, such as regression analysis, will be conducted to analyze the data and determine the extent to which GSC practices influence sustainability performance. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing literature on GSC practices and sustainability performance in the textile industry. The results will provide valuable insights for textile companies in Pakistan and other similar industries, helping them understand the potential benefits of adopting GSC practices and enhancing their sustainability performance. Additionally, the research outcomes will contribute to the broader field of environmental sustainability and supply chain management, offering guidance for policymakers and industry stakeholders interested in promoting sustainable practices.
