dc.description.abstract An anti-theft system for a motorway is a security system that helps prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering the motorway. The system utilizes a network of cameras and image processing algorithms to automatically detect vehicles as they enter and exit the motorway. By comparing the detected number plate to a database of registered vehicles, the system can determine whether a given vehicle is stolen and generate an alert if necessary. The system also includes a user interface that allows individuals to report stolen vehicles, which can be used to update the database in, real-time. Overall, our proposed anti-theft system has the potential to significantly reduce the problem of car theft on motorways and provide additional protection for drivers and their vehicles. The technology can evaluate whether a particular vehicle is stolen and send out an alarm if necessary by comparing the observed number plate to a database of registered vehicles. The system is designed to detect and deter potential thieves while allowing authorized vehicles to pass through without delay. The anti-theft system that can significantly enhance the security measures on motorways is to develop a reliable and efficient system that can detect and prevent theft of vehicles. The goal of the system is to enhance the safety and security of the motorway using number plate detection techniques, as well as protect against losses due to vehicle theft. en_US
