Abstract:
Purpose: The relatively new topic of career management involves both analysis and human
resource planning at both the corporate and individual level. The prime purpose was to discuss
how important it is for healthcare organizations to use OCM practices and to show how these
practices affect employee development, career happiness, and performance.
Methodology & Design: The methodology and design used in research is a quantitative
approach, causal design, multiple linearregression analysis, explanatory type, and convenience
sampling.
Findings: This study discovered that the organizational career management is significantly
impacted by employee performance, employee growth, and employee career satisfaction.
Limitations: First, this study only examines the healthcare industry in Karachi, and second,
a cross-sectional rather than a longitudinal design is employed.
Recommendations: The utilization of longitudinal research, taking a personal interest in
employees’ career aspirations, promoting training and development, rotating employee roles,
and developing succession planning programs are some suggestions for this study.
