dc.description.abstract | This research has focused on the effects and causes of solid waste mismanagement. The main aim of this research was to identify the weaknesses of solid waste management system, Chaklala Cantonment Board and to identify the obstacles faced by the solid waste management system of Chaklala that led to ineffective management of solid waste, furthermore this research has investigated the effects of solid waste mismanagement has on the residents and the environment. This research has gathered data and all the relevant information from the respondents to get to the root cause of this issue of solid waste mismanagement. To conduct this research multiple qualitative research methods have been adopted such as interviews to get as much information as possible from concerned people who were selected through purposive sampling method to make the research more effective. Lastly the problems in solid waste management are highlighted so that all the stakeholders can work together effectively to overcome this problem. | en_US |
