dc.description.abstract Most businesses today are inclined to have many employees employed from remote sites who are accountable for executing several business procedures related to service delivery, customer support, client site jobs and so on. This workforce relies deeply upon the usage of mobile devices to guarantee execution of all these tasks in an appropriate and accurate method. A “geofence” is simply an unseen, virtually defined area, created using GPS points. If a user having a mobile device with software downloaded arrives or exits the geofenced area, an alert will be triggered. The equivalent software is a GPS time tracking application that can be downloaded on the employees’ phones. The location of worker is tracked using mobile device and the admin defines a territory of geofence. The algorithm checks if the user has entered the geofence territory and updates the record in timesheet. Later timesheet is used to pay the employee per his hourly work. This can help in timesheet theft and paying employees according to the time they have worked. en_US
