dc.description.abstract | Today in our life's computer plays an important role. Everyone wants to keep their data and computer safe. There are multiple methods are available which can secure data, but no method is available to secure computers. Also, in educational institutes the teachers use white board to deliver lecture and the text must erased after some time and it is very difficult for disabled teachers to write on white board. To solve these problems, we created a system which helps to ensure only authorized person can use computers by authenticating them with RFID card or by their fingerprint. For teachers there is a module to create lecture notes by with help of application & touch screen. All the controls of computer system are shifted on a single rostrum. The system has two modules one for security and one for the teachers to create notes on touch screen. There will be separate app for the teachers where they can create lecture notes without internet connection. The system is developed for the desktop as well as an online module. The system will first authenticate user by fingerprint or by the RFID card reader. Once the user is authenticated the system will unlock all the peripherals devices and allow user to manage them. When the user, logout the system then the system will automatically block all the peripherals devices. This ensures that no one can use the computer except those are authorized. The system will also automatically logout the user after some time to ensure more security. The system does not allow any peripheral device to connect if the user is not authenticated. The user must have valid RFID card or fingerprint registered with the system. If user have any one of them then they can use the system. The security system is developed by using Raspberry Pi and the lecture notes application can be directly run on computers. | en_US |
