dc.description.abstract | We often hear in the news that while driving the car went into accident and the driver died on the spot, at recent research at National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) data shows 37,461 people were killed in 34,436 motor vehicle crashes, an average of 102 per day. In 2010, there were an estimated 5,419,000 crashes, 30,296 deadly, killing 32,999, and injuring 2,239,000 The research proposed that most of the car accident was due to negligence of Rules and Regulations and most often the drivers are not so much aware of driving rules and many of them were not having a proper license and they were not properly trained. VR Trainer is a Virtual realitybased project using an Oculus VR headset. The purpose of the project is that it will help in Driving Simulation. With this device, one can easily learn driving and one can learn about the traffic rules and maintenance of the car using VR headset he can feel the environment and will not be afraid of driving. VR Trainer will be provided to driving schools and to the traffic department where they will take test of the driver using or project before s/he drive a car. Our main idea behind this was that many people are afraid of driving and many don’t know about driving Using this project they will first interact with car environment and then will be put on to different tests to check that are they able to drive a car or not. In the test module the driver learns about Rules and Signs and at the end of each module the driver will go through a test. | en_US |
