Tour Guide - A Trip Planner

Abstract

Tourism plays an essential role in the economy of a country. Many countries like Italy, Maldives are getting most of their income from tourism. Similarly, tourism in Pakistan has undoubtedly immense potential given our diverse culture, heritage and natural endowment. Our project will assist travelers in getting familiar with the places that will help in promoting tourism. Tour Guide Trip planner, will be an Android application where people can easily find the tour guides according to their preferences. Travelers can plan and book their trips in an easiest way by getting advice from travel experts. Traveler can contact a tour guide through a message and discuss their trip itinerary. They can get information regarding different tour packages provided by the tour guide. Travelers do not have to visit the tour guide's offices, and they can hire a tour guide by just a few clicks. This can save a lot of traveler's time by cutting off the time that a traveler spends in the agent's office. Users can also search for available flights. This application also provides the hotel booking, flight search and budget calculation features to the travelers. In order to facilitate exposure for our application, we have also developed a website for our project with an overview and features of Trip Planner application.
