dc.description.abstract | In the past, there was not any process for bidding against tenders online. All processes were manual. If any new tender were issued then the organization would give an advertisement on its website, newspaper, or any other media. Newspapers contain only few details of tender, if any more details are required then the contractors must physically visit the organization. All processes from issuing a new tender to allocating a tender to the contractor would have to be done on paper and personally. So, the Bidder’s, contractor’s portfolio and bid details are managed manually. No online registration and subscription were provided. This E-Tendering app (electronic tendering app) facilitates the complete tendering process from the advertising of the requirement through to the placing of the bid on this app. All the Bidder details can be shown in this app. The app will first ask for NTN number. If the bidding organization is not a national text payer then bid cannot be placed. An interested bidding organization would download/access the tender specification. The respective bidding organization would review the requirements. Based on the tender specifications, the bidding organization would prepare a bid. In E-Tendering app Bidder can bid for the Product using the app and portfolio can be submitted at the time of bidding. | en_US |
