Virtual Teacher

Abstract

In the current situation after the COVID-19 pandemic, where the whole world is trying their best to avoid the physical contact of humans as much as possible because the COVID-19 virus spreads people meet with each other. As our education system was totally based on physical classes where people come in physical contact with each other in classrooms, so, there are more chances of spreading this virus in physical classes. That is why governments of different countries including Pakistan have closed educational institutes for physical classes. In this situation, online education is the only option to continue education system but quality of education should not be compromised while shifting into online education. This application will provide a platform where educational institutes can take classes, manage students and have necessary records of students (i.e. Class participation, class joining, class leaving etc.). One big problem in online education is that the quality of education is compromised due to lack of check and balance system in it, i.e. teacher have no idea whether student is participating in class or busy in some extra matters irrelevant to class. So, this system provides complete check and balance system where teacher can check what student is doing through student’s camera, what student is saying by checking student's mic and what student is doing on computer while class is in progress by checking student’s screen. These are all facilities which teacher have while taking physical classes and now will have in online classes too so, quality of education will not be compromised. By using this application, we can decrease the negative impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on education system.
