dc.description.abstract | Potholes appear on roads all over the world. As a result it is one of the primary concerns for road safety. It can cause flat tires and serious accidents to cars which could be fatal. Keeping that in mind with the sudden development in image/video processing technologies and machine learning coming a long way we decided to solve the problem of detecting potholes and sharing the data with authorities for quick fixation of authorities. It is an Android and web-based application that will help detect potholes and then pinpoint its location on a map which will enable authorities and users a like to fix potholes or be aware of the condition of the road beforehand. Which will minimize road incidents and solve the problem of fixing potholes before anything serious happens. Potholes will be detected and pinpointed on a map using rapsberrypi and our mobile application. A web interface to see the map is also available. | en_US |
