dc.description.abstract Conventional energy systems are very costly and have very adverse effect on the environment. Renewable energy resources are very concerned in these days. These systems should be cost effective and reliable. Wind turbines systems already exist, but by increasing energy demands, we need to make the system much efficient. Conventionally wind turbine systems design for constant speed, that can capture energy on constant speed wind otherwise disconnected. There is need highly controllable and efficient wind turbine system with variable speed wind, which will be able to capture energy at every wind speed A complete system is being analyzed and design for the variable speed of the wind. Before practical implementation of variable speed wind turbine system in field. A complete model designing according to the required parameters is necessary. We purposed and designed a variable speed wind turbine emulator, able to measure parameters very close to the field scenario. It’s provided complete design parameters for real system designing and testing. An inductive load is being attached at the output to measure the current, voltages and power changing with the speed of the wind. MATLAB sim power system is used for simulation of the whole system before the practical design of the system. Although for detail analysis of current, voltages and power waveform, graphs tools have been used in MATLAB by taking continuous data from the output en_US
