dc.description.abstract As the demand for electric energy is increased day by day, so perpetual electricity is required by every sector of life, whether it is domestic demand or commercial demand. Grid stations will not be able to fulfll this massive electricity demand. So, we must design an inverter that can operate on a variable DC source that is store in a micro-grid, these DC energies can either be achieved by any renew- able source energy. The all the renewable sources of energy are dependent on the mains grid for electricity is that the surplus energy generated from the non- conventional energy sources using micro-grids be contributed back to the mains grid. This can be accomplished by utilizing a framework for interfacing the mi- crogrid to the main grid with the help of a grid-tie inverter. The achievements of the rational testing of grid-tie inverter lie in effective DC-AC conversion. Additionally, the ability of phase, voltage, and frequency synchronization with cease- less fluctuating grid voltage and frequency. Therefore, instantaneous shut down of DC-AC inversion process occurs in case of suddenly black out is also tested. Inverter efciency during the testing period-maintained consistency. This in- verter converts DC power from the micro-grid into AC power with its phase and frequency lock with that of the grid itself. Such a system model is discussed along with the design of a grid-tied inverter with the help of pulse width modula- tion PWM. The system also consists of a switching unit between the micro-grid and the mains grid to provide electricity to the load depending on the supply levels. en_US
