dc.description.abstract | This research work aims to comprehend the Dhurnal area's structural interpretation and reservoir potential. There are two sections to study. In the first section, horizons were marked and time, depth, and velocity maps were generated in order to analyse the seismic lines that were available. The analysis confirms a pop-up geometry between fore- and backthrusts, which are surrounded by a sole and roof thrust and create a passive roof duplex. By using wireline logs to calculate the hydrocarbon potential of the Dhurnal-05 well. Gamma-ray, neutron-porosity, resistivity, caliper, and SP logs were among the logs used in this research. The zone of interest's borehole profile was acceptable. Within the Chorgali Formation and Sakesar Limestone no zones has been identified because zoning criteria was not fulfilled, so that’s why we have interpreted the whole formations. According to a petrophysical study, the Chorgali and Sakesar Limestone serve as a valuable reservoir in the Dhurnal-05 well. | en_US |
