Abstract:
Smart attendance system is an android base application. This application is providing a platform to the teachers to mark the attendance of the students in less time. The application is providing access to three main stakeholders: admin, faculty and student. Admin can manage courses and assign courses to faculty and student. Faculty can generate a QR code through which attendance will be marked and they can view the attendance summary. Students will be able to scan the generated QR code if it is valid. Then the final step of authentication is IRIS scanning. This application is developed for the Higher Educational Institutes as teacher and students need to have this application installed in their Mobile phones. 1
