dc.description.abstract “Xa’s Collection” is basically into the establishment of men designer wear Boutique including the operations of apparel Designing, Manufacturing, Selling and Marketing. The report discusses how to capture the dynamics of the Boutique industry, with its many components and possible strategic opportunities. The global fashion industry has witnessed unexpected rise in the recent years because of the production of quality designer Xa’s Collection in both the categories (Men and Women). The multiplex boom specifically in the developing countries and media has developed awareness among the minds of people about fashion. People like to be up-to-date with the latest fashion. Consider people from different professions or from different walks of life for example, let us consider Business Tycoons, Business Executives, Job Oriented People working in multinational companies, artists, and even students they all are now aware of what they should wear at different occasions. 1.2 Opportunities and Competition In reference to Pakistan, the Boutique business is quite in vogue but has yet to be formalized. The market of this enterprise is quite scattered and unorganized. There are a few major players in Boutique business and these entrepreneurs have also taken an initiative based on their experience in the field of fashion design. However, there is a massive potential in this field, if one has the ability to design and market the products through introducing innovative designs both in stitching as well as the fabric sector. This industry is not new in Pakistan there have already been few players in the market out of which the names of Amir Adnan and Junaid Jamshed are of prime importance. They are the major competitors of Xa’s Collection. Considering the fact that they have been in the market long time back and now developed a strong customer base there is a threat that they might not allow us to get into the market, but where there is a will there is a way. Junaid Jamshed also has another plus point that he has been popular among people because of his artistic personality as well. These are the factors that will play major role in deciding about the competition. They both are into fabric and stitching sectors. Clothing is a beautiful visual demonstration of the social and emotional needs of people wearing it(www.nowtees.com). It also portrays in a clearly understood visual manner, what people of different cultures and styles want socially. Fashion, through times, has gone through so many rapid changes and bizarre extremes that it has examples of nearly every kind of clothing function, however, in a boutique business, the specifications and descriptions of the designs and clothes are so general that they can fit more than one costume, which actually are quite different in nature from each other and this is solely dependent on the taste of the people. The range of Pakistani dresses is remarkably wide, according to the vast cultures, geographical differences, purchasing capacities, and influence of the western culture. Once the business is established there is a possibility to add variety not only in products but to add variety to the market as well. This can be done by making customized products and by exporting products to different countries. There is a huge part of our population living abroad and they like to wear Pakistani dresses. 1.3 Location Currently, the men’s boutique industry is relatively unorganized and is scattered in and around the posh areas of the major cities of Pakistan i.e. Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi. Most of the outlets are in Karachi and Lahore. All these outlets deal in fashion wear and not in casual wear, so Xa’s Collection would follow the same scenario. The location chosen initially for the Xa’s Collection retail outlet would be at F-10 Markaz Islamabad or any house located near F-10 Markaz. This is because Amir Adnan and Junaid Jamshed have their outlets in F-7 Markaz and currently there is no men’s boutique in this area. 1.4 Moral and Social Issues The other factors that should be catered by a business person are that they should care for all the social and moral values. So the business would be carried out according to the rules and regulations of Govt. of Pakistan and all the taxes would be paid. At the same time we all need to realize other social aspects and therefore Xa’s Collection will support all those activities that will be carried out for humanity. There would be lucky draws and also charity shows would be conducted over different times. Chapter 2 Marketing Plan 2.1 Market Description The major chunk of the market will be the residents of Islamabad and that too who live in the vicinity of F-10 Markaz. People normally belong to the upper and upper middle class in this area. They are normally the people who have their own businesses or they are working at good positions in good companies. They like to socialize with others and like to attend meetings and also at the same time they have their office commitments. So they normally like to maintain their social standards. They are among our target audiences and we would try to cater for their needs and if possible will try to originate the needs to go for Xa’s Collection clothing stuff. As discussed earlier the market for the men’s boutique is quite scattered, so we will try to provide the customer with their products at ease and at the same time would like to build our customer base. 2.2 Product Review Any success doesn’t come while waiting and watching, so at times you may need to go down to get the trust of people. Xa’s Collection is a profit-oriented company. To get profits one need to be highly efficient and motivated towards their goal(www.textileasia.com). The basic goal at Xa’s Collection is customer satisfaction and that doesn’t come by sitting idle. With all the efforts we will made to come up with brilliant design we are planning to make summer sales offer, music concerts, and at the same time we have kept our prices low with respect to our competitors. There is no compromise over quality but we will provide the best with the best price in the market.
