dc.description.abstract The FFBL Mess Management System is an industrial project. It is a comprehensive software solution designed to optimize and automate the Mess management process for the Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL). The aim of this project is to develop an efficient and user-friendly system that simplifies the food ordering, inventory management, bill generation and meal check-in process for the employees of the organization. The system is developed using the SDLC iterative model methodology and incorporates features like online ordering, menu customization, meal cost calculations, and bill generation, for enhancing user experience. The system allows employees and staff to check-in for meals in advance and select the time and type of meal according to their needs, as well as purchase bakery items online. The system enables the Admin and Mess Manager to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. The Admin can manage the Lunch/Dinner menu and handle Inventory/New Account requests, while the Mess Manager can manage Bakery items, calculate meal costs, and process meal check-ins, etc. The system also generates automated reports for extra meal orders, and Lunch/Dinner meals, enabling effective monitoring and control. The FFBL Mess Management System is developed using ASP.Net MVC framework, SQL, C-Sharp, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, ensuring a robust and secure system. The system will be deployed on a web server by FFBL upon completion of the project, making it accessible to all authorized employees of the FFBL from any location. The project team has followed a systematic approach involving requirement analysis, system design, development, and testing to ensure the delivery of a high-quality system that meets the client’s expectations. The expected outcomes of this project are improved efficiency in the Mess management process, reduced errors, and resource optimization. The system is expected to improve employee satisfaction, leading to increased productivity and better work culture. The FFBL Mess Management System is a significant step towards modernizing the Mess management process at FFBL and can be further customized and expanded to meet future requirements including deployment of FFBL Mess Management System at FFBL plant site located in Karachi. en_US
