dc.description.abstract Our project IP Zoom (IP to Geolocation Mapping Service) is a web application to convert IPv4 into Geo-Location using different innovative approaches for most accurate tracing. The main objective of this project is to develop a web application that can accurately determine the geographic location of an IP address in real-time. Geolocation information for an IP can be used for various applications over the internet, like content delivery, advertising, fraud detection, prevention. It can also be helpful in cyber security on both the offensive and defensive side. The API which we are using in this project to geolocate IP addresses currently has 16K+ CCTV High Quality Landmarks. The accuracy of the results is ensured by using multiple data sources and algorithms that verify the location of the IP address. Additionally, the VPN detection feature is included to identify if the IP address is being used through a VPN. This feature can be particularly useful in online security applications, where the use of VPNs can be associated with malicious activities. The WHOIS feature is also included, which provides information about the owner of the IP address. This information can be used to verify the legitimacy of the IP address and to identify potential security threats. IP Zoom is designed to be scalable and can handle a large volume of requests simultaneously. It is implemented as a web application using modern technologies such as React and Node.js, which ensure its compatibility with various devices and platforms. Overall, IP Zoom is a valuable tool that can provide accurate IP to geolocation mapping, VPN detection, and WHOIS features. The project has significant practical applications in various domains such as online advertising, cybersecurity, e-commerce etc. en_US
